2008.05.29 - Day 47 :
The little lonely violin. Not played for months it sits in its case, even there gathering dust.
So we just got home from seeing Esperanza Spalding at the Regattabar in Cambridge. She was amazing. Esperanza graduated from Berkley a year sooner than usual and at 20 became the youngest instructor ever at the school. This was her cd release party and if you like Jazz, I recommend you give her a listen on iTunes or at her website
http://www.esperanzaspalding.com/ Ponta de Areia and Precious are two of my favorites.
Unfortunately I didn't bring my camera, but I saw two people there with SLRs so I will remember for the next time I am at that venue.
